Jesus' Supremacy in Real Life
Here are some verses from Hebrews that stuck out to me this week.
Hebrews 3:13: Challenge and encourage each other daily so we don't sin.
Hebrews 4:10: We enter God's rest and we rest from our works.
Hebrews 4:16: We can have confidence to draw near to the throne of grace.
Hebrews 7:25: He saves to the uttermost those who draw near to him. He lives to make intercession.
Hebrews 9:14: Christ offered himself without blemish to God. This purifies our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.
Hebrews 10:22-25: We, in faith, draw near to God because our hearts are sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. This leads us to stir up good works and love in each other. Because of this, we have to gather together.
Hebrews 10:36-39: They had a need for endurance to do God's will. Faith pushes us through. Faith gives us pleasure with God.
Hebrews 11: People who had faith and endurance. People who pleased God with faith. To draw near, we must believe God exists and that he rewards those who seek him. God is not ashamed to be called their God.
Hebrews 12:1-2: Jesus is the author and perfector of our faith.
Hebrews 12: We are disciplined so we can share in his holiness. It yields righteousness.
