3 Core Temptations
God puts desires inside of you. Satan will use these desires against you to think you can provide Life in your soul through the created order.
And Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness for forty days, being tempted by the devil.

Provision
Power
Wonder
All desires God put in us. Desires you can use to trust in him so he can give you Life in your soul. And desires he put in you so you can enjoy the good gifts of his created order.
Or desires you can use to trust in the created order to give you the life you think you need.
If you lose your life, you will gain Life.
If you gain your life, you will lose Life.
Biological life.
Eternal, Zoe Life.
Trusting in the created order which is here today and gone tomorrow.
Or trusting in the One who created you to have Life breathed in your soul by him. Life that is the Living Water flooding your soul so you can live out the biological life he wants you to live.
Temptation is not about choosing to not do sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll.
Temptation is about who you choose to Hear & Follow to supply the Life of your soul.
