Do you minister for approval or from approval?
A voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.”
Luke 3:22
God approved of Jesus before he did ministry.
Do you minister to be approved by God?
This is a never ending cycle. And leads to burnout because you’re ministering in your own strength. You’ll also lead people to work to find approval from God.
Do you minister because you are approved by God already?
This allows you to lead by the Life of your soul that only God gives. You’ll want to minister because you want others to realize they are already approved by God.
Not work. Not ministry. Not numerical success. Not religious practice.
