Favored one…
An angel shows up to who we’d consider an early teen. And tells her “in God’s sight, you are highly favored.”
This phrase meant God could put on her the weight of being the mother of his Son.
In God’s Kingdom, the bigger the favor, the bigger the weight in his Kingdom.
I’m not talking about the favor which leads to salvation. God views everyone with equal favor when it comes to him washing sins clean. All who call upon the name of Jesus will be saved.
When it comes to Kingdom assignments, not everyone is equal. And the greater God’s favor in your life means the greater the weight of Kingdom assignment.
And the greater the weight in sacrifice, mission, discipline.
You are not someone who happens to get paid by a church.
You are not someone who volunteers for a church.
You are someone who has a Kingdom assignment from God. You have favor from him for salvation. You have favor from him for your Kingdom assignment.
