From our brokenness God gives strength.
“To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory.”
I don’t like people to see my weakness. I have to have it all together.
This is not how it works in God’s Kingdom. Actually, leading with vulnerability and weakness connects us with those we lead.
God is leading me to lead with more vulnerability. And I don’t know if I can.
For God to strengthen us, we must know we are broken, poor, in bondage.
For you to stand the test of ministry time, you must have God’s strength. To be able to lead others who are broken and hurting, you must experience brokenness yourself.
And you have to experience the strength only God can give through his salvation and restoration.
