The Lord in the Womb
The Baby in the Womb is the same Lord at the right hand of the Father. The story is the same, but the people sitting under the story are different.
Elizabeth worshipped the baby inside Mary’s belly as Lord.
That’s not normal.
If you come across this post, and you struggle with why believe the Jesus of the Bible, I’m super glad you came across this.
This is something to wrestle with.
Why would a woman “well advanced in years,” with a baby in her own belly, worship a baby in another woman’s belly as Lord?
If she worshiped him as Lord in utero, then is his life different? His life would be something to pay attention to.
Questions posed for you to investigate, not to put down.
Those who have the Lordship of Christ settled in their life…don’t forget the baby in Mary’s womb is just as much as Lord as…
The Man who walked on water.
The Man who died.
The Man who resurrected.
The Man who sits at the right hand of the Father.
As God come to womb, was he aware of his surroundings?
He is the omnipotent, omnipresent, omni-everything God and yet living in an itty bitty living space.
Christmas is a time of the year in ministry where you get a mindset of “everyone has heard this before. I don’t know how to put any more angles on the story.”
Release yourself of the burden of “more angles.”
New people sit under your teaching.
Hopefully someone new shows up and is asking the question, “What’s the big deal about Jesus?”
There is someone who has been in church their entire life and they lost a loved one this year and Christmas isn’t the same. They’re the same physical person, but everything on the inside is different about them.
And both people need to be reminded the baby in the womb was just as much Lord as the Man sitting at the right had of the Father right now.
Life will be rough. But the Lord in the womb will give a Life of the soul they can never give themselves.
And you are the one to remind them!
