The Painful Joy of God’s Vision
God’s vision is a sword that will pierce your own soul. And religious people often wield the sword.
A sword will pierce your own soul.
God’s vision is not fairies and rainbows.
And the bigger the vision, the bigger the impact for his Kingdom, the bigger the sword that will pierce your soul.
When you lead your church to be a Light to those far from God.
When you want to glorify…make God visible…to those who can’t see him.
The more swords will be swung your way.
And the more swords will be swung by religious people.
Mary and Joseph Heard & Followed God and made sure Jesus was brought up in the way God his Father wanted.
But when Jesus started ministry, they were out of control. Joseph was no longer around (possibly/probably died…the first sword in her soul?). And Mary watched on. Unable to stop the train leading to Jesus’ death. The death she watched. The death initiated by religious people.
God’s vision is the most joyous and most painful thing you can follow.
