When we magnify our difficulties, we get bigger problems.
When we magnify our Lord, we get a bigger Lord.
This is a tension to manage. Don’t gloss over your difficulties. They’re real. Saying, “God is good all the time. And all the time God is good,” is true…but ignoring the difficulty also ignores why you need to Hear & Follow a good God.
You lead people in ministry. They look to you on what to do in the middle of difficulty. They want and need to see someone who has difficulty and rejoices anyway.
Because when they’re faced with the choice of showing up for service or small group because they don’t feel like it, they need to know the best place they can be is in the middle of others rejoicing.
